Milieu Conception is about us all and our place in this world, how we can be better stewards of the resources we have and how we can honor our environment so that it supports all life and future generations in positive and beneficial ways. We need to strive to seek balance with our surroundings and use our great abilities, technology and intelligence in a way that is mutually beneficial to all life and that helps to create a robust existence for us all.
Milieu – a two-part french word. “Mi” meaning middle, inferred as balance or point of balance. ”Lieu” meaning place or environment, inferred to mean the social, physical and/or other environment we are in. When joined the thought mechanism formed is a balance within our environment.
Conception – the originating of something in the mind; the capacity, function, or process of forming or understanding ideas or abstraction or their symbols.
About me:
Milieu Conception is my brain child, it is what I have come to know as my ultimate goal in life – it is a combination of my skills, experience, knowledge, unique viewpoints, out of the box thinking, and my unshakeable desire to find a cohesive existence within our natural environment that still allows for an exceptional quality of life for all living beings.
Since I was little I have been exceptionally gifted at taking what others would see as trash or junk and turn it into something functional, artistic and that solves a need. I have worked in a multitude of industries, which have all helped me to become the person I am today. I am a Professional Electrical Engineer with over 7+ years working as a consultant in the commercial built environment. I have spent over 6+ years working in the construction trades as a carpenter, electrician, plumber, and maintenance tech. Some of my other jobs that have helped to shape me include information technology, deck hand, vibe operator, geophysical technician, processor, warehouse stocker, home remodeler, sales, day labor, and activist. With these experiences I have managed to gather a good look at our built environment, our social fabric and the way we live – I know we can do better, be healthier, kinder, and actually balance with our environment.
